That means we will be your District Leaders for two more years. We are very grateful. UPCOMING VID EVENTS: Thursday, August 18 7:30 p.m. Executive Committee Meeting, 26 Perry Street Saturday-Sunday, August 20-21 We have been asked to provide volunteers for an event to help the NYC environment: a white roof painting of buildings in the East Village which have been identified by the organization FAB (Fourth Arts Block). The painting will take place on August 20th and 21st between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm on both days. The VID headquarters at 26 Perry Street will be staffed by VID members during the following hours to receive your petitions. Please bring them in for clearing, and for filling out and signing the witness statements. Monday thru Friday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Saturday 11 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Sunday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you have not signed up to get petition signatures and would like to gather signatures for our candidates, come by the VID headquarters during any of these hours and you will be given petitions and instructions. VID executive meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 27, is cancelled due to weather conditions, and postponed to Tuesday, February 1st, at Annette Zaner’s apt.. 7:30 pm, location, 75 Bank Street corner of Bank and Bleecker Sts., apt. 6F. Tenants’ Clinic scheduled for Wednesday, January. 26, 6 p.m. is cancelled due to weather conditions. Tenants’ Clinic will resume, Wednesday, February 2.
