Community Board 2 Landmarks Committee to Hold Public Info Session on Proposed Demolition of Tony Dapolito Rec Center September 30 — SIGN UP NOW TO SPEAK
On Monday, September 30, Community Board 2’s Landmarks Committee will hold an “information session” on the NYC Parks Department's proposal to demolish the city, state, and federal landmark Tony Dapolito Recreation Center. The city wants to raze the beloved public facility that has enriched the lives of generations of neighborhood residents and New Yorkers. Permission to demolish the historic building is still many steps away, and there has been an outpouring of public opposition to the scheme.
People must make their voices heard! Anyone interested can attend the meeting, which will be held in person and virtually (note limited public space). If you can't make the meeting, there is an option below to submit written testimony.
- Please sign up to speak with your name, address, and email address by clicking here.

When: Monday, September 30, 6:30 pm
Where: Lenox Hill Greenwich Village, 200 W. 13th St.
