CALL

Thank you for making daily calls to your Members of Congress! Here are just a few key issues to focus on this week—click the highlighted text in each bullet for the full script and contact details:

  • Hold Trump Officials Accountable for National Security Breach: Top Trump administration officials—including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz—used the unsecured app Signal to share classified U.S. military strike plans. The Atlantic has now released the messages, confirming what they denied under oath.

  • Protect Free Speech: Stop Unlawful ICE Detainment of Immigrants: The Trump administration has begun targeting pro-Palestinian voices by revoking visas and detaining students and legal residents without due process—actions that violate the First Amendment and set a chilling precedent. Urge your members of Congress to call for the immediate release of Mahmoud Khalil, Badar Khan Suri, and Rumeysa Ozturk, and to push for an end to these unconstitutional attacks on peaceful protests.

  • NO vote on the SAVE Act (H.R. 22S. 128): Call your House Representative - this voter suppression bill is heading to the House floor next week. It would require a passport or birth certificate to register to vote in person—blocking millions of eligible Americans, especially women, seniors, low-income, disabled, and BIPOC voters. There’s no evidence of widespread fraud—this bill is about making it harder to vote.

POSTCARDS

Help Wanted: Postcards To Voters has launched postcards for Wisconsin

If you have never written postcards to voters before, just email PTV at [email protected] to get started. If you are already an approved writer, you can use PTV's Web Abby or Slack Abby or Email Abby to get the script & addresses. Help elect Susan Crawford to the Wisconsin State Supreme Court.

We’re mobilizing for Wisconsin’s April 1 Supreme Court race because the stakes are national. This election will decide the court’s 4-3 balance, shaping abortion access, voting rights, labor protections, and election laws in a key swing state—potentially influencing the 2024 presidential race and setting national legal precedents.

In-Person Postcarding: Join Downtown Nasty Women and Team Min for in-person postcard writing on March 5 Tuesday, March 11th, 2:30 pm-4:30 pm at Morandi.  Supplies provided. Drop in anytime! RSVP here
