Community Boards have important advisory roles in land use and zoning, landmarks, quality of life and liquor licensing matters, parks, public safety, city budget, affordable housing, education, transportation, city services, business interests and many other issues relating to our local communities’ welfare. Are you passionate about your community and looking for ways to make a difference? Community Boards are the first level of local government and everyday New Yorkers can volunteer to serve.

Apply for Appointment to your Community Board
Applications for appointment to Manhattan Community Boards (including CB2) are now being accepted on the Manhattan Borough President's website.  To learn more and to submit an application, please visit the Borough President's website HERE.  The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday, February 23rd at 5 pm.

In-Person Meetings
All CB2 meetings will include an opportunity to attend in person.  Seating at some meetings may be limited – so please be sure to click on the link to request in-person access if you wish to attend in person.
