Join VID for a community outreach effort to support local immigrant-owned businesses and help protect them from ICE intimidation. We’ll begin with a short training before heading out into the neighborhood in pairs.

The goal of this project is to help businesses prepare for and respond to potential ICE raids. Working in pairs, volunteers will visit local shops—block by block—to share information on:

• How to take steps now to protect themselves

• What to do if ICE appears

• How to respond in case of detentions

• Where to find legal and community resources
