Help us Canvas in the Neighborhood

Every Saturday from 10am to noon, VID will be tabling at Abingdon Square (Bleecker St/Hudson St.) starting Saturday, September 14,  through November 2nd. We need VID members and volunteers to join us at the tables. If you’re interested, please contact either of the campaign co-chairs, Dan Palmisano or Tony Hoffman.The purpose will be multifold:

• Campaign for Prop. 1, the human rights amendment to the NY State Constitution.
• Recruit volunteers for Vote Blue buses going to swing districts in NY, NJ and PA.Campaign for VID’s endorsed candidates in our district (US President & VP, US Senate, US Congress, State Senate and Assembly, judges).
• Raise funds for Vote Blue via button sales and possibly baked goods.
• Increase VID visibility in our community.
