CSWA's lunar new year celebration this Sunday. Our friends at No More 24/Home attendants, other workers and coalition members have been planning not just the event but special performances including an original musical skit about our no more 24 fight! It'll be a great time to celebrate, catch up and ring in the year of the snake. It's a family friendly event too so feel free to bring friends/family of all ages!
Flushing Workers Center invites you all to see the world premier of Led by Working Women, NYC Strikes Back!, an original musical depicting our No More 24 Movement, this Sunday, 11:30am at CSWA's annual lunar new year celebration! Many of us from our coalition came together to make this great work of art, so come support, enjoy and bring friends and family!
There will also be performances by the Youth Against Displacement lion dance troupe, home attendants' choir, Chinese orchestra and more! We'll also have lunch, karaoke and a raffle to support worker organizing.
