Join us at our upcoming meeting. We are fortunate to offer a special presentation of the: Battle for Human Rights and Humanity at the Southern Border (with slides) by Dorothy Benz, PhD., who spent a month there with the organization No More Deaths.  VID has long advocated for justice and for protection of migrants – this is a program you do not want to miss!

NOTICE OF MEMBERSHIP VOTE ON VID CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 
VID’s Executive Committee unanimously approved a practical amendment to Article III of the VID Constitution:  it will re-set all annual renewal anniversary dates for all members to fall on either January 1 or July 1, to ease tracking memberships and renewals.  The renewal dates for current members will be extended with a grace period so that each will get the full year of membership plus the gap to get the member to the new renewal date – so no one will be shorted any membership months.  Members will be asked to vote on this amendment to ratify.  (See attachment HERE). Please note, VID is no longer accepting Venmo or PayPal for membership dues.
