VID’s next Membership meeting will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

Location: Lenox Health Greenwich Village, 30 7th Ave. (also known as Northwell Health) (the white maritime-designed building betw. 12 St and 13th St.) – 6th Floor Community Room. Entrance is on 13th Street. This is an accessible building. Masks are not required.

Three very important things to know:

1. VID will be voting on whether to endorse two NYS ballot measures (re education funding and sewage facilities) – details in the attachment.
2. Our main speaker is Councilmember Chris Marte (approx. 7:10 p.m.) on the upcoming Mayor’s “City of Yes” proposal with an explanation of crucial and profound zoning changes, citywide.
3. PLEASE BRING YOUR CELL, TABLET OR LAPTOP so that we can briefly test our voting system at the end of the meeting.
