Good Trouble Day of Resistance

Across America, Let's Make Good Trouble: Good Trouble Day of Resistance

On July 17th, national organizations are coming together for an action in remembrance of John Lewis: Good Trouble Lives On.

Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Location: Foley Square, Centre Street NYC
RSVP HERE

The New York City Good Trouble team is planning a principled and peaceful action on July 17th that will center the demand for civil rights for immigrants and for every person in our communities. In honor of making some good trouble, we will host a rally and short march circling 26 Federal Plaza and culminating in a moment of silence and solidarity.

This is more than a protest; it’s a moral reckoning. A continuation of the movement Lewis helped lead, and a new front in the struggle for freedom.

Please register so we can follow up with trainings and more information on this action.

Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
