Lunar New Year in NYC

Lunar New Year celebrations begin on February 17,  culminating in Chinatown’s annual Lunar New Year Parade on March 1, 2026. Throughout February, concerts, firecracker ceremonies, family festivals, lion dances, and community events are taking place citywide to celebrate the Year of the Horse and support local businesses.
