This May Day, there are three powerful rallies happening near City Hall. The main event is the 5 PM rally at Foley Square, and we hope to see the strongest turnout from VID members and allies there.

 MAIN EVENT: 5 PM – Foley Square

Stand Up for Working People
VID stands in solidarity with working families and urges members to attend this major rally, organized by a broad coalition of labor, immigrant justice, and community groups. Together, we’re demanding housing, healthcare, fair wages, and union protections for all — and fighting back against billionaire-backed attacks on our rights and services.

We are the many. They are the few. Join us.

1 PM – Foley Square

Law Day Rally – May 1 at Foley Square

Join lawyers and allies at 1:00 p.m. on May 1 for a Law Day Rally at Foley Square to defend the rule of law and our constitutional democracy. Hosted by leading bar associations, the rally will spotlight attacks on judicial independence, retaliation against lawyers for doing their jobs, and threats to constitutional protections. 12 PM – City Hall

May Day Rally – May 1 at City Hall
Join grassroots groups at noon on May 1 at City Hall (Broadway & Murray) to demand action on key justice issues: ending the 24-hour workday, fighting for universal healthcare, and stopping displacement. In the spirit of the 8-hour workday movement, let’s stand up for workers’ health, dignity, and community protections.
