It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Freida Bradlow, legendary and esteemed member of VID for over 40 years. Frieda was truly a force of nature, whose unwavering dedication to progressive activism in Greenwich Village made a profound impact on all of us and the city of New York.
We will honor Frieda's legacy in the coming days with appropriate reflections on her invaluable contributions.
As we process this loss, Frieda's family invites you to celebrate her life and work at a memorial service in her honor:
Sunday, October 6th, 10:30 AM
Riverside Memorial Chapel
180 West 76th St. @ Amsterdam Ave.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early because the service will start on time.
For those who are unable to attend the service in person, a zoom link is available.
Following the service, the family will hold a private burial.
