VID Forum on NY Ballot Proposals 1-6 and Endorsement Vote
- Prop 1: Nora Bricker from NYCLU will provide an update on VID-endorsed Prop 1 and how the club can help pass the constitutional amendment.
- Proposals 2 - 6: We’ll review five controversial amendments to the NYC Charter proposed by Mayor Adams' City Charter Revision Commission. Speakers will present the pros and cons of the amendments, and VID membership will vote on whether or not to support initiatives. Speakers will be Councilmember Erik Bottcher and Diane Savino, Senior Advisor Chief Advisor's Unit, NYC Office of the Mayor. City Hall assessment HERE. For more background, see info HERE.
