Join the New York is NOT Disposable Coalition in Albany on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. We will be supporting two critical bills—the Packaging Reduction and Recycling Infrastructure Act (S4246-b/A5322-b) and the Bigger Better Bottle Bill (S237/A6353)—that aim to reduce single-use plastics and promote reuse, refill, and recycling. 

We'll convene at 10:00 AM on the 3rd Floor Terrace of the Legislative Office Building at 198 State Street, Albany, 12210, for a briefing and group organization. After meeting with legislators until noon, weather permitting, we'll gather for an outdoor rally in West Capitol Park. Following a quick lunch, meetings with legislators will resume until 4:00 PM. Join us to make a difference this spring!

*Bus information for downstate residents:

• The bus will pick up passengers at the Tick Tock Diner at W 34th Street and 8th Avenue in Manhattan at 7am on May 14.

• The bus will leave Albany at 4:15 pm, arriving back at the Tick Tock Diner at approximately 7pm.
