Rally & Hearing to Support Community Composting

Support Community Composting! 

Join advocates on Tuesday, March 25, from 10:30–11:00 a.m. at City Hall for a rally to demand funding for Community Composting. Then, stay to testify at the City Council Sanitation Committee hearing at 9:30 a.m., or speak up from home:

To testify via Zoom or phone:

  • Register by Monday, March 24 at: council.nyc.gov/testify
  • Select: Tue, Mar 25 2025 @ 9:30 AM – Committee on Sanitation and Solid Waste Management
  • Choose your method: Web (Zoom) or Phone
  • Include a subject like: “Support for Community Composting.”

Can’t make it in person or online? Submit written testimony up to 72 hours after the hearing ends:
