KNOCKING ON DOORS FOR SUOZZI IN NY-03, FEB. 10th
It was the final weekend of knocking on doors (but more knocking, phone banking and train station canvassing still available until Feb. 13th! See above). VID was part of a (growing) coalition consisting of Democratic Clubs and Grassroots Organizations that came together once again in NY-03! Thanks to VID'er, Melissa Carty, who has been brilliantly coordinating all of these inter-club and organizational efforts for weeks and weeks! And thanks to Assemblymember Harvey Epstein for his coordination with the effort as well Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon who joined us on the bus. And to Rep. Dan Goldman's office and staff for once again providing transportation and coordination.

KNOCKING ON DOORS FOR SUOZZI IN NY-03, FEB. 3rd
It was a great day to knock doors in Glen Cove for Tom Suozzi for Congress! Early voting started today! And the special election day is February 13th. Over 6500 doors were knocked on in the district today! And we had a great time in "the fun car!". Thanks to fellowDemocratic clubs who partnered with us: HKDems, Lexington Dems and CRDC!
CANVASSING FOR SUOZZI - Jan. 27th, 2024
The house was packed and filled with enthusiastic volunteers! Tom Suozzi gave a spirited and uplifting speech at the New Hyde Park campaign headquarters on Saturday, January 27th, sending off teams of canvassers for a day of door knocking and voter engagement. Representing VID were Judith Jacobson, Jonathan Geballe and Nina Reznick and Jamie Leo from 3 Parks. The spirit was strong and resolute, and the headquarters team reported that altogether canvassers from this office (one of seven Suozzi field offices) covered over 2,000 homes!

Meanwhile in Astoria, Queens....VID represented at a postcard writing party for Tom Suozzi! Members from sister democratic clubs in Queens partnered with Markers for Democracy. Thanks to Rep. Dan Goldman (NY-10) and NYS Assemblymeber, Harvey Epstein (District 74) who coordinated buses and joined us, VID and the Manhattan Democratic Club Coalition took to the streets to knock doors in Nassau County for Tom Suozzi! Wind, freezing temps and snow squalls can't keep us from fighting for democracy!
