CEC elections (NYC’s version of school boards) are happening now, and families with children in public schools have until May 13 to vote.
In recent years, some CEC seats have been taken by candidates backed by outside political groups pushing anti-LGBTQ+ agendas, attacking inclusive curricula, and fighting diversity efforts in our schools.
We can’t let them take control of our classrooms.
If you're a public school parent, make your voice heard. Vote now—and encourage others to do the same.
