Over 300 New Yorkers packed St. Mark’s Church, and hundreds more joined online, for a sold-out Downtown Democratic Coalition* town hall with Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani. He took questions on education, housing, climate, justice, health care, and more, with Council Member Christopher Marte announcing his endorsement. As VID co-presidents Sara Kimbell and Irene Kaufman said: “This town hall brought our community together to hear directly from Zohran Mamdani and to focus on the challenges and opportunities we face as New Yorkers.” Watch full recording here.
