No More 24 Update

Following the UN letter condemning the forced 24-hour workday for home health aides, workers are set to begin a sit-in outside of NYC Council Speaker Julie Menin's residence. They will resume their hunger strike on July 28 if the Speaker does not support the No More 24 bill. 

• Sit-in: Tuesday, July 14, 9 am-11 am details. Sit-in schedule: Tues, Thurs., Fri. this week; next week, it’s Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday.
  
  

• Sign onto DNWSG.org open letter asking Speaker Menin to keep her promise and schedule the No More 24 bill for a vote. Instructions: print out this letter, sign it, and email a picture to [email protected]
