VID Holiday Party!
It was a true pleasure to see so many VID members, elected officials, friends, and neighbors at our annual holiday potluck celebration. Thank you to VID Co-President, Irene Kaufman and Daniel Neiden for hosting everyone in their beautiful West Village home. We were thrilled to be joined by State Senators Brian Kavanagh and Brad Hoylman-Sigal, Assemblymembers Harvey Epstein and Deborah Glick, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, Councilmembers Erik Bottcher & Christopher Marte, and a representative from Rep. Dan Goldman's office.
The afternoon's highlight was a heartfelt tribute in memory of Frieda Bradlow, VID's long-time, esteemed member and beloved West Village activist. Senators Kavanagh and Hoylman-Sigal, Assemblymember Deborah Glick, and Councilmember Erik Bottcher all presented proclamations in recognition of Frieda's dedication to the community and fierce activism. Two of her four children, John and Robert Bradlow, were present to accept the honor on behalf of their mother.
Also joining VID were Judges Allison Greenfield, Ilona Coleman, Ashlee Crawford, James Clyne, Shah Ali, and several judicial candidates, further enhancing the sense of community.
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our delicious potluck feast and to all who came to show their support for the club.
Special thanks to event chairs Nadine Hoffmann and Mindy Rosier for organizing such a memorable and meaningful event!
VID's littlest and cutes member!
