New York: 

Get on the Bus with VID & Vote Blue

• VID is proud to sponsor Vote Blue—and now it’s time to get on the bus. Vote Blue is sending volunteers from NYC to canvass in key congressional districts so we can win back the U.S. House of Representatives and hold this administration accountable. Most buses include at least one of our local elected officials. No experience necessary; bus captains will hand out literature and go over everything you need to know for a successful day of door knocking (lunch provided). Read more here.

Can’t Canvass? Help Register Voters in NY-17

• NYCD16/15-Indivisible is organizing a letter-writing effort to reach people in NY-17 who aren’t registered to vote and are modeled as likely Democrats. Volunteers can take as few as 20 names and will receive addresses, a cover letter, and instructions for including a voter registration form (you will need access to a printer). In a similar 2024 effort, recipients were 6% more likely to register and vote.  Contact Micah at [email protected]

• With just nine weekends until Election Day, Knock for Democracy and Change the Conversation are mobilizing volunteers to help flip Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District. In 2024, Rep. Scott Perry defeated Janelle Stelson by just 5,133 votes; the two are facing each other again this November.
