Get on the Bus with VID & Vote Blue
VID is proud to sponsor Vote Blue—and now it’s time to get on the bus. Vote Blue is sending volunteers from NYC to canvass in key congressional districts, with training and lunch provided and no experience necessary.
These are easy, organized day trips—and one of the most direct ways to get involved this fall. Sign up and join your fellow VID members on the bus. Our inaugural bus will be traveling from Union Square to a competitive and crucial district: New York CD-17. We’ll be talking to voters about Democrat Cait Conley, who is working hard to unseat Republican Mike Lawler.
Anyone is welcome to join us on a bus—no prior experience is required. We ask for a $10 voluntary contribution from bus riders, but we can waive the fee for students or those in need. We also ask organizations and individuals to help sustain this effort by becoming sponsoring angels.
- Saturday, Sept. 19 → NY-17: Canvass for Cait Conley, who is challenging Rep. Mike Lawler. Link here. (Please note, While ActBlue does not require cell phone numbers, we STRONGLY encourage you to include one, in case we need to reach you with any last minute changes.
