THANK YOU!
What a day for New York City. More than 100,000 New Yorkers filled the streets on Saturday as part of the nationwide No Kings march, one of nearly 2,700 protests across the country, with almost seven million people standing up for democracy, the rule of law, and the Constitution. Organizers say it may well have been the single largest day of protest in modern American history.
An enormous thank you to all the VID members who marched and to Caroline Donahue, who organized our contingent (many pics below). As usual, you all represent the best of who we are: peaceful, determined, and proud to stand up for the democratic ideals we hold so dear.
